Membership is not limited to individuals of Igbo origin, but is open to anyone regardless of nationality, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or belief. This inclusivity is achieved through affiliation by birth, marriage, or adoption.
The Executive Committee membership is determined through a democratic bi-annual election, ensuring that the leadership positions are filled through a fair and transparent process. This demonstrates IUMK’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
